Add/Edit Entry

This page provides details on how to add a new entry to the directory, and also how to edit an existing entry.

We welcome new applications and edits to existing entries at any time.

All correspondence to VCS Learning Links is reviewed at the end of each month, and our aim is to answer all messages within two weeks of that review date.

To add a new entry...

We want the directory to be as comprehensive and useful as possible. If you would like to add your organisation, please complete the short proforma below.

Before you do, we ask that you check that your organisation fits the focus of the directory. This is not a directory of providers of learning and training. Some of the organisations listed in the directory may deliver learning and training but their reason for inclusion is the role they play in supporting delivery by other bodies.

As the directory explains, this resource provides details of voluntary and community sector infrastructure (or second tier) organisations in England which have a particular interest in supporting learning and training. By infrastructure organisations we mean, in broad terms, those that deliver some of the key roles and functions identified for such bodies by NCVO (the National Council for Voluntary Organisations). In brief, these are: support and capacity building; networking and events; advice, information and signposting; policy; research; services; training; and campaigning and advocacy.

Please save a copy of your completed form and email it to vcslearninglinks@niace.org.uk.

We will get back to you to confirm your eligibility for entry in the directory on receipt of your form.

To edit an existing entry...

All organisations listed in the directory have recently been contacted (November 2006) to amend and verify their entry. All edits received back will be processed in early December.

Funding permitting, we intend to undertake a similar annual review in October/November 2007.

Should you wish to make any changes to your entry before this date please let us know by sending an email to vcslearninglinks@niace.org.uk. We will send you an electronic version of your entry and ask you to highlight the amendments and additions you would like to make.

The directory is a dynamic resource and we are committed to reviewing, extending and amending it in response to feedback and new information. Thank you very much for contributing to this process.
