Supporting learners with Skills for LifeThis course is suitable for trainers and is designed for companies who run their own in-house training courses. The course gives the participants a toolkit of methods and resources to help learners with literacy and numeracy skills, for example writing frames for report writing and note taking, mind mapping and strategies for helping with mental mathematical tasks.
Engaging the workforce in training: Getting the most out of Train to Gain brokerageThis training is suitable for line managers and training/HR managers. This course will help your organisation in motivating staff to gain work-related qualifications. It will also help you identify your business training needs and how to ensure you get the right training when working with your Train to Gain Skills Broker.
Identifying dyslexia and signposting trainingA short course to help trainers identify key traits of learners who may have dyslexia and to provide information as well as signpost individuals to assessment centres and support.
Successful Retirement ProgrammeThis training programme aims to raise awareness amongst individuals about the need to plan financially for their retirement. The training is divided into two sections:
