On the 16th and 17th of September delegates came from all over Europe and gathered in Norwich for a conference on Adult Education, Work and achieving the Lisbon Goals.
They came to discuss the role adult education and training can make to the
Lisbon Goal of making the European Union the most competitive and dynamic
knowledge-based economy in the world, capable of sustainable economic growth
with more and better jobs, and social cohesion.
Participation also included a cultural visit to Norwich where the history of the city was revealed and a civic reception at Norwich City Council with the mayor.
