Sign Up Now in January is organised by NIACE to highlight the benefits of signing up to a new course of learning. Through this media-led campaign we actively encourage existing learners to help promote the benefits of learning to their peers, friends and family.
More free resources: online calendar
If you would like to publicise your enrolment activities and open days for free,
use the online calendar at
www.signupnow.org.uk/calendar . This will be publicised to the press
and has proven to be a popular resource for adults to search for enrolment
events near to them. It’s also a key tool for learndirect advisers who can use
the details on the calendar to let callers know about events which are happening
locally to them.
Positive images of people with disabilities
We have available a range of promotional materials that depict powerful
positive images of people with disabilities and long-term health needs.
The posters and postcards portray images of learners. Each learner's story is set out on the reverse of the postcard. The quotes used are direct from the learners and were a response to the question "What difference has taking part in adult learning had on your life".
We also have available fold-out information sheet for potential and current learners with disabilities and long-term health needs, and for learners with learning difficulties, with motivational messages about learning, support available and useful contacts. These come in a range of formats including audio and Braille.
