 Welcome to Spondoolies
Spondoolies: The Online Goldmine for the Adult Financial Learning Community.

Spondoolies is a forum for all those engaged in financial learning for adults. You can talk to other practitioners, find out what is going on, read reports of other people's events and much more. To use the site you need to register - it will normally take no more than a working day for your registration to be accepted so that you can read all the content, communicate with other members and contribute your own comments. Please tell us as much as possible about yourself and your work when you register - that way we shall quickly build up a valuable directory of people who are involved in financial learning and there is a valuable gift when you fully register. To find out more, see the Forum posting titled "Freebies"!

Some of the most interesting things on the site are in the attached files. You will only be able to download these if you have registered on the site.

<<<Make sure you check out the Financial Literacy Resource Centre link on the left here

This website is not designed to compete with others in connected fields of work. There is excellent work being done by those active in financial inclusion, basic skills, money advice etc and we fully support that work. This forum is certainly open to all but with a particular focus on financial learning in all its aspects.

We have created it because Tutors working in Further Education and in Adult and Community Learning, people working for Voluntary Organisations, people wanting to start delivering financial learning programmes and those in policy making positions all told us they would like to know more about what is going on in this field.

The site will only work if you and your colleagues are prepared to make a small effort to register, put in some information about yourself and your work and throw down a few gauntlets in the forums! In return we are confident you will get back much, much more. Can we please ask you to use your normal first name and surname as your username as this will make finding other people much easier.

In the "Think Tank" Forum the first entry is to help you get started on Spondoolies. Go and have a look.
